The Alpharetta PAL Literacy Club is designed to improve the reading skills for children ages 6-15.The program invites youth who struggle with literacy as well as those who have a passion to read. After school hours, children can read a variety of books ranging from different sizes and genres in a comfortable atmosphere. Readers are tested on books they read and are rewarded with points based on the scores they receive. The goal of the program is to improve reading scores, increase vocabulary, and to create more passionate readers.
